Rhino Ruckus is both inspired by, and written for, the low winds students in beginning band. This accessible grade 1 rock tune features a low brass/low reed soli and a percussion break, with optional drum set. Mindful melodic intervals and phrasing makes this tune a great fit for the end of the first-year concert. I encourage you to have low brass and low reed players stand during the soli to get the recognition they deserve!
