What is SUMMER BAND? Summer Band was born in the summer of 2021... Erin was director of the North Seattle Symphonic Band at the time and wanted a way to invite people back to making music together post-COVID. We held an outdoor sight reading day for any and all musicians in the Greater Seattle Area and it was a hit! The next year we formalized the experience as a 4 week pops concert session. The vision is to provide a place for musicians from any and all community bands to have a fun place to keep playing over the summer. The repertoire is largely movie, broadway, and pop selections, to be performed annually at Maple Leaf Reservoir Park (lower level playground field) on the last Sunday before Labor Day weekend. |

Attendance Policy:1 absence permitted if unavoidable and prior notice is given, preference for perfect attendance :)
Fee: $75 (includes t-shirt).
